GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle and performance from product design and development to sales and maintenance. The Product Manager will define product positioning, strategy, and roadmap. He/She will be responsible for product marketing as well as ensuring smooth delivery to clients.

  • Leads the development of the customer-focused product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis.

  • Define creative, high-quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
  • Develops detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
  • Develops a business case/investment justification. Responsible for the profit and loss of the product.
  • Articulates the benefits of the product features and translates them into customer-facing messaging.
  • Identifies representatives from target end-users to evaluate the product to check the market response and feedback.
  • Manages prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
  • Creates buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develops pricing and go-to-market strategy for the products
  • Drives product marketing and product launches
  • Works closely with development team and operations support to deliver products to market
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic,financial, and technical goals

  • Manages end to end product development and delivery; ensuring prompt and best quality of delivery

  • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Related Work Experience – 3 to 5 years of consumer-facing product management experience
  • Experience working on developing new applications or services
  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
  • Broad technical breadth and depth including familiarity with mobile technology, web services, and back-end application infrastructure
  • Passion for creating innovative solutions for consumers in households
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up
  • assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs andevaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
  • Experience with developer evangelism
