About the Role

The Game Data Specialist bridges production and system support through two main functions:

- Managing and maintaining all Xbox game accounts and license assets.

- Creating standardized files from in-game screenshots provided by Team Leads.

This role ensures account security, license traceability, consistent file structures, and accurate control mappings—providing essential technical data support for production and quality control.

You'll work closely with AAA console games daily, gaining deep insight into their control systems and account structures.


Key Responsibilities

1. Xbox Game Account & Asset Management

  • Create and maintain Xbox game accounts following naming and security standards.
  • Purchase, activate, and track game licenses per Team Lead requests.
  • Manage login status, regions, subscriptions, and DLCs.
  • Maintain a Game Account Tracker and Game License Database.
  • Ensure account-device consistency and resolve lockout or ban issues with IT/Procurement.

2. Keymap Creation & Management

  • Build files from in-game screenshots.
  • Verify accurate key mappings and JSON format integrity.
  • Test files for compatibility with internal systems.
  • Maintain a Keymap Database with consistent naming and version control.
  • Update Keymaps after patches or control changes.

3. Documentation & Coordination

  • Review records related to keymaps and game accounts.
  • Back up files and databases regularly.
  • Prepare accounts and Keymaps for new projects.
  • Coordinate with Ops, IT, and Team Leads to ensure readiness for recording tasks.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher (Computer Science, Game Design, Data Processing, or Information Management preferred).
  • Passionate about console gaming, especially AAA titles.
  • Familiar with Xbox account systems, game licensing, and regional rules.
  • Proficient in JSON editing (VS Code / Notepad++).
  • Skilled in Excel / Google Sheets for asset tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Good English reading comprehension for in-game and system content.

Preferred: Experience in game account management, IT asset tracking, or QA/QC technical support.
