Role Overview

We're seeking a script writer who lives and breathes gaming videos. You'll craft scroll-stopping scripts for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels that showcase PC games in ways that make viewers immediately want to play. The ideal candidate doesn't just understand gaming—they instinctively know what makes gamers stop scrolling, what moments are clip-worthy, and how to turn gameplay into viral content. This role requires both deep gaming knowledge and proven expertise in script writing for social video platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling scripts for scripts for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels seconds)

• Develop longform video scripts for YouTube that maintain engagement and drive viewer retention

• Craft hooks that stop scrollers within the first 3 seconds and drive completion rates

• Translate gameplay moments into engaging narratives that resonate with gaming audiences

• Collaborate with video editors to ensure scripts align with visual storytelling and pacing

• Stay current with trending formats, sounds, and content styles across social platforms

• Adapt writing style for different game genres, from indie titles to AAA releases

• Write for AI voice cloning workflows while maintaining natural, conversational tone

• Develop content concepts that balance entertainment value with Wand feature showcases

• Analyze performance metrics to refine script approaches and improve engagement

Who You AreRequired Experience

• Proven portfolio of video content with measurable engagement metrics

• Deep knowledge of PC gaming across multiple genres with ability to speak authentically about game mechanics, meta, and culture

• Active participation in gaming communities (Reddit, Discord, Twitch, etc.)

• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and what drives virality

• Experience writing for voice-over or narrator-style content

• Professional level English writing with ability to adapt tone from casual to informative

Gaming Expertise

• Extensive personal gaming experience with ability to quickly understand new games

• Understanding of gaming terminology, memes, and community culture

• Knowledge of what makes gameplay moments shareable and clip-worthy

• Ability to identify viral-worthy content opportunities while playing or watching games

• Familiarity with gaming content creators and current trends in gaming content
