About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join the dynamic team at SUPERB CATCH INC.' in Malabon City Metro Manila. As a full-time Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing operations and ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and services for our growing company.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the procurement of raw materials, goods, and services required for the manufacturing and operations of the business
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and manage orders and deliveries
  • Maintain and update the company's purchasing records, inventory, and vendor database
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other purchasing-related documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of required items
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the purchasing function
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and the broader team as required

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant business applications
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
