About the Role**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant - Accounting Support to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, maintaining accurate financial records in Xero, and supporting monthly and quarterly closings. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, skilled in Excel, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
  • Perform regular reconciliation and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Maintain and update records in Xero accounting software.
  • Generate financial reports and provide support in monthly/quarterly closings.
  • Use Excel to organize, track, and analyze financial data.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support general administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed.

  • Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setup.
