As the Fleet Supervisor at Xpress, you will be responsible for the effective coordination and supervision of our fleet operations, consisting of 100–500 vehicles. You will ensure that vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and utilized efficiently to support business goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on supervision, and the ability to support both drivers and maintenance staff in their day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Operations: Supervise the daily operations of the fleet to ensure vehicles are deployed and utilized efficiently.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Monitor vehicle conditions and ensure timely preventive maintenance and repairs. Work closely with service providers and maintenance staff to minimize downtime.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and comply with local and national transportation regulations. Maintain accurate records of registrations, inspections, and certifications.
  • Cost Control: Track fuel, maintenance, and repair expenses. Support the implementation of cost-saving measures while maintaining operational quality.
  • Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring fleet performance and reporting key metrics such as utilization, downtime, and costs. Provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee drivers and support staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and service providers for parts, repairs, and other fleet-related needs. Ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular updates and reports on fleet status, maintenance schedules, and operational issues for review by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in fleet supervision or a related role, preferably within the ride-hailing or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and fleet operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and support a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Ability: Comfortable monitoring data and identifying opportunities to improve fleet efficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with fleet management software or tools is an advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
