Procurement Associate

The Procurement Associate is responsible in sourcing & developing products for Sunnies Inc. events and ensures that vendor performance meets the company's expectations.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
- Source out new vendors to meet the requirements for new projects and the allocated budget. Conducts product bidding to each supplier and consider production timeline per supplier to meet desired schedule.
- Creates SAP-related documents for ordering and coordinates payments.
- Works closely with the Creative and Brand Team in the development and the execution of new products.
- Responsible in getting all the details particularly revisions, colors to sample, material to use and product names.
- Responsible for the timely approval of samples in coordination with the Creative and Brand Team.
- Ensures that revisions and colors to samples are being clearly cascaded to suppliers.
- Provides action plan for any delays during development stages.
- Participate in the development, creation and launching of new products.
- Provides action plan and/or recommendation if new product is feasible to continue or not.
- Inform the team regarding quality issues from previous concepts for consideration on the new product launches.
- Bridges every department that is involved in the production: Creative, Marketing, Supply Chain and Merchandising.
- Source out and recommend new concepts to the Team for use in new collection buildups. Coordinates with each supplier for new updates.
- Monitors and ensures that FDA application process is finished and available prior to shipping and selling of specific products.
- Coordinates testing with 3rd party test providers to make sure that products are within standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or any related field
- Background in Marketing and Project Management.
- At least 1-2 years of related experience
- Implement trade marketing
- Background in Sourcing and Development, Vendor Management
- Knowledgeable of MS Office
- Good communication problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Able to handle physical, mental, time pressure, and stress
