Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Accountant
to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a solid foundation in accounting and finance while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and supplier payments with complete documentation and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate AP Ledgers and monitor aging reports to ensure timely settlements.
  • Prepare monthly AP summary reports for management review.
  • Post journal entries for AP, accruals, and other routine transactions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform basic reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of VAT, EWT and income tax returns in compliance with BIR regulations.
  • Help organize supporting documents for BIR and SEC filings.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and regulatory agencies when needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting,
    Finance
    , or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (Preferably).
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting preferably with exposure to accounts payable and Philippine Tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
  • Knowledge of BIR deadlines, eFPS/eBIRForms, and basic regulatory submissions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
  • Can start ASAP
