About the Role

We are seeking a
Virtual Assistant – Land Acquisition Research
who is analytical, proactive, and highly organized. In this role, you will support the acquisition pipeline by sourcing land deals, verifying property information, and preparing concise deal summaries. You'll navigate online real estate platforms, cross-validate data with government and municipal sources, and ensure only accurate, qualified opportunities reach the acquisitions team.

This role requires resourcefulness, excellent research capability, and the confidence to contact brokers, sellers, and city offices when information is incomplete.

Key Responsibilities

Property Research & Lead Sourcing

  • Search and identify land parcels through LoopNet, Crexi, LandWatch, and other real estate platforms.
  • Explore off-market or alternative lead channels when possible.

Property Analysis & Due Diligence

  • Evaluate properties based on predefined acquisition criteria such as:
  • Location, zoning, lot/acreage size, price range
  • Traffic count, population density, development feasibility
  • Cross-check and verify property data using:
  • County GIS portals
  • City planning/zoning websites
  • Assessor databases and demographic tools

Data Management

  • Organize and record details into our CRM or spreadsheet tracking system.
  • Maintain a consistent and structured workflow for deal updates and status reporting.

Communication & Coordination

  • Contact agents, brokers, sellers, or municipal offices to request clarifications or missing information.
  • Provide concise property summaries including risks, red flags, and recommendations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Excellent online research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and CRM or tracking systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience with land/real estate due diligence or acquisitions support.
  • Familiarity with LoopNet, Crexi, LandWatch, GIS, or similar platforms.
