Direct message the job poster from P&A Grant ThorntonSourcing & Onboarding Associate at P&A Grant ThorntonJOB DESCRIPTION DETAILSThe IT Business Analyst Supervisor supervises day-to-day tasks and teams in the delivery of business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReview requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Consult with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Utilize KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support decision-making. Document and analyze required information and data.

Lead in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. Implement new IT operations into the firm from initial idea to project completion. Manage technical difficulties, working with developers when necessary.

Match the solution requirements and solution approach with the standards applied in other projects. Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirement specifications. Actively identify project risks, assess their impact, and promptly communicate them to the project manager or relevant stakeholders.

Collaborate on mitigation strategies, plans, and review of the risk log with project managers. Support the Information Security Manager as the second-in-command of the entire IT Controls Group, which covers IT Compliance, IT Security, and Quality Assurance. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or other related fields

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Proven leadership skills working with high-performance, fast-paced teams

Exceptional written and oral communication and negotiation skills

Superior analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKeen attention to detail

Experience working in a team-oriented, matrix environment.Outstanding communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal, and consultative skills.Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently.Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.Seniority level
