RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technically analyze contract requirements and customer inquiries and requests for proposals.
  • Support the requirements management team concerning the definition and validation methods related to the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System.
  • Create technical reports and design documents for the AFC system including the subsystems back office, server systems, Ticket Vending Machines, Automatic Gates, etc.
  • Coordinate and support the Automatic Fare Collection project subcontractor in preparing formal document submittals and analysis of requirements and solutions being implemented.
  • Support Testing and Commissioning (T&C) as well as Operations and Maintenance (O&M) by supporting the production of test plans, test reports, and O&M manuals.
  • Ability to understand the functions and operation principles of Railway Communication system
  • Reviews and updates the engineering design documents, construction drawings and manufacturing documents
  • A wide-management and/or onsite experience in the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system construction and installation
  • Knowledgeable in IP communication and Serial communication protocol design
  • Good project-management and documentation experience and can create engineering documents, reports and official letters
  • Ensure that the AFCs and all related documents are in compliance with the MRT-7 Contract, Performance Requirements and all applicable standards
  • Coordinates with client, stakeholders and all parties involved to ensure project progress
  • Interface and collaborate with sub-systems engineers and third parties for design and implementation
  • Performs other related-tasks that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1-5 years' working experience in AFC system construction or IT and project management in any railway industry or other related field
  • Project Management Experience is an advantage
  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Communication Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • With good English-communication skills
  • Willingness to travel on site project
