Brief Description and Purpose of the Position

Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directly supervising a team of Leadmen, Utility Operators, Material Handlers, Pre-Delivery Inspection personnel, and Production Workers. This role involves maintaining efficient workflow, ensuring adherence to production standards, and overseeing the entire production process. The purpose of this role is to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience, being in the automotive industry is an advantage
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience within a production environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts
  • Proficiency in using MS 365 Applications (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • Implements and oversees inventory control policies and procedures, including identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory

  • Conducts inspection to ensure that products processes and services meet predefined quality standards

  • Already able to delegate tasks to junior staff effectively and has the intermediate competency to mentor and coach staff
