Role Description

This full-time role as a Wood Supervisor is based on-site in Lapu-Lapu. The Wood Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all aspects of wood production, including monitoring and improving production processes, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and leading a team of skilled workers. Additional responsibilities include resource management, quality checks on raw materials, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in wood processing, material management, and overseeing production processes
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce
  • Knowledge of quality assurance standards and sustainable production practices
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills for effective resource coordination and process improvement
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Forestry, or a related field is preferred
