Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspections: Regularly inspect the building's structure, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues or needed repairs.
  • Repairs: Perform minor to moderate repairs on non-technical components like walls (drywall, paint, plaster), floors, doors, and windows.
  • Plumbing: Handle minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing or replacing faucets, sinks, toilets, and drains.
  • Electrical: Repair and maintain building lighting fixtures and electrical outlets.
  • HVAC: Assist with the maintenance and operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Appliance & Fixture Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair building appliances and other fixtures.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow safety rules, company procedures, and local building codes and ordinances.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair tasks, labor hours, and materials used.
  • Work Area & Tool Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, and maintain all assigned tools.
  • Support: Assist other contractors, such as electricians and plumbers, with their projects as needed.
