Job Overview

The Civil and Finishing Foreman/Leadman is responsible for supervising and executing all civil, structural, and finishing works for the construction, maintenance, and repair of fuel refilling stations and related infrastructure. This role ensures that all civil and architectural works are implemented according to approved plans, safety standards, and quality specifications of Filoil Logistics Corporation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Execution:

    Oversee and direct daily construction activities related to structural, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works including tile installation, carpentry, and painting.
  • Technical Implementation:

    Interpret, communicate, and implement architectural and structural plans to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance:

    Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with technical specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination:

    Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers for project scheduling, material requisition, and progress monitoring.
  • Site Management:

    Maintain safe and organized worksites, enforce safety protocols, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Documentation:

    Prepare daily progress reports, site inspections, and work completion checklists.
  • Training & Mentoring:

    Provide technical guidance and hands-on supervision to skilled workers and helpers to maintain high standards of work quality.

Technical and Functional Competencies
  • Strong background in structural construction, masonry, waterproofing systems, and finishing works (tile setting, carpentry, painting).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute architectural and structural drawings accurately.
  • Knowledge in construction materials testing, surface preparation, and finishing standards.
  • Familiar with quality control procedures and preventive maintenance practices for civil structures.
  • Proficient in basic measurement tools and surveying techniques.
  • Familiar with OSHS standards and construction site safety management.
  • Basic understanding of electro-mechanical coordination during project execution.

Qualifications
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in civil and finishing works, preferably in fuel station or industrial construction projects.
  • Vocational or Technical Certificate in Civil Technology, Construction Supervision, or equivalent.
  • COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification is an advantage.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating a 4-wheel vehicle.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
