DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
  • Gather and analyze financial data
  • Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs
  • Prepare detailed reports, both periodically
  • Manage budgets and monitor spending
  • Prepare (monthly, quarterly, and annual) costing analysis
  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
  • Developing and maintaining the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
  • Analyzing data collected and logging detailed records of the results.
  • Analyzing actual project costs and preparing reports comparing standard costs to actual project costs and changes in standard costs.
  • Monitoring of Foreign Materials from end-to-end transactions.
  • Preparation of entries for foreign materials or any transactions outside the Philippines.
  • Analyze costs of processes, labor and inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
  • With minimum of 2 years work related experience
