Get to Know the Role

The Branch Marketing Officer is responsible for achieving the business development and sales targets of the branch through effective client acquisition, portfolio management, and customer relationship building. Reporting directly to the Branch Service Head, the position supports the branch in meeting its financial and growth objectives, while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Marketing

  • Conduct market scanning and prospecting to identify potential borrowers and depositors within the branch's area of responsibility
  • Promote the bank's loan, deposit, and other products to both new and existing clients
  • Assist in achieving branch business targets such as total loan portfolio, deposit growth, and client base expansion Participate in community events, networking, and client calls to increase visibility and branch recognition of the bank
  • Submit periodic marketing activity reports and pipeline updates to the Branch Service Head

Loan Origination and Credit Support

  • Receive and evaluation initial client applications for loan products
  • Coordinate with the Credit Department to facilitate processing and document completion
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of client documentation prior to endorsement for approval
  • Monitor approved accounts for timely release and repayment performance Support remedial collection activities by conducting client follow-ups when necessary

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure loyalty, repeat business, and timely renewals
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure smooth transaction servicing and client satisfaction
  • Address customer inquires and coordinate with operations or service units for prompt resolution of issues
  • Conduct client visits to monitor business activities and gather feedback on bank services

Admin and Compliance Support

  • Prepares periodic marketing, loan, and collection reports, as required by the BSH
  • Observe and implement all bank policies, credit guidelines, and regulatory standards in marketing and client handling
  • Safeguard confidentiality of client information and uphold ethical standards in all business dealings
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by BSH or Management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan marketing, sales, or client servicing, preferably in the banking sector
  • Strong knowledge in credit evaluation and documentation
  • Proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,616.00 per month
