The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for the daily handling of transactions and interaction with customers, selling over-the-counter medicines.
- Takes in and hands out prescriptions.
- Attends to sales transactions following established procedures.
- Familiarizes self with products and educates self more about health and wellness.
- Prepares orders of merchandise and medicines and sends them to the assigned personnel for delivery.
- Monitors and records stocks received from the logistics unit for display/use in the store: keeps a record of items bought for inventory purposes.
- Sells over-the-counter medicines.
- Refers problems or queries to the pharmacist.
- Responsible for making the area clean and orderly.
- Performs daily random inventory of at least ten (10) items.
- Entertains complaints and requests for proper coordination to the concerned department or personnel.
- Coordinates with the officer in charge and store supervisor on incidents such as lost items, unusual store occurrences or emergency.
- Monitors expiration of products in assigned gondola.
- Implements all official orders as may be dictated by Management and their Officers.
- Ensures adherence to the company's established policies and procedures.
- Accountable for properly and completely audited and investigated inventory variances.
What we need:
- Preferably NC2 holder in Pharmacy Aide/Pharmacy Assistant.
- Has a good customer service skills.
- Organized and has attention to details.
- Compassionate and patient
- Willing to work on holidays and weekends.
- Amenable to work on shifting schedules.
- Can work in Ortigas
- Available to start immediately
