I. Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on civil engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in tendering activities, including bid preparation, cost analysis, and documentation.
  • Conduct cost planning and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and unit rate analyses.
  • Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and analyze budget variances.
  • Prepare and submit progress billings and interim payment certificates.
  • Manage and evaluate variation orders and claims.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cost data, correspondence, and project documents.
  • Coordinate with engineers, planners, and procurement teams to ensure updated cost information.
  • Support project closeout by preparing final accounts and cost reports.

II. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a QS, preferably in civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of local construction materials, labor rates, and cost indices.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
