Job Summary:
The HRBP Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, including Employee Relations (ER), compliance, reporting, and process monitoring. This role ensures adherence to company policies, labor laws, and industry best practices while actively contributing to employee engagement and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Manage Employee Relations (ER) cases, providing guidance and resolution in alignment with labor laws and company policies.
- Review and ensure proper documentation of Notices to Explain (NTEs) and Notices of Decision (NODs).
- Monitor and track employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations and support audits by DOLE and internal compliance teams.
- Conduct refresher training on HR policies and labor law updates.
Pre-Employment & Background Verification:
- Track and monitor pre-employment requirements such as but not limited to Pre-Employment Medical Examinations (PEME) to ensure timely completion and compliance.
- Facilitate Monitor Background Verification (BGV) processes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for clearance.
- Follow through on missing employment requirements and ensure document completion.
Reporting, Monitoring & Process Management:
- Maintain accurate records of ER cases, compliance reports, and HR metrics.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of internal HR audits.
- Track and monitor the completion of the Performance Management Process (PMP) and other essential activities pertaining to talent management such as succession planning documents, individual development plans, performance improvement plans, etc.
- Ensure Quality Control (QC) health merits compliance and report any deviations.
- Maintenance of other essential trackers and creation of other reports as assigned.
Employee Engagement & Policy Updates:
- Regularly update HR policies and conduct refresher sessions to keep employees informed.
- Provide support in employee engagement initiatives and HR-related updates.
- Actively contribute to a positive work environment by supporting HR-driven activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR generalist functions, with exposure to employee relations, compliance, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
