We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Analyst with 1–2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with testing tools, API testing, and a working knowledge of OWASP principles to help ensure the security and quality of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across different platforms.
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Apply OWASP best practices to identify potential vulnerabilities and collaborate with developers to address security risks.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support automation initiatives by contributing to test script creation and maintenance.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive test documentation, reports, and defect logs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1–2 years of QA/testing experience in software development environments.
  • Proficiency with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman).
  • Experience in API testing and understanding of request/response validation.
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and common application security risks.
  • Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: Up to Php50,000.00 per month
