This role involves various tasks, including coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:

  • Import/Export Operations:Coordinating and managing the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Documentation:Preparing and submitting necessary import/export documentation, including shipping documents, customs declarations, and other paperwork.
  • Customs Compliance:Ensuring all shipments comply with customs regulations and procedures, including proper classification of goods and payment of duties and taxes.
  • Shipping Coordination:Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics providers to arrange for the efficient and timely transportation of goods.
  • Relationship Management:Building and maintaining relationships with international suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution:Identifying and resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the import/export process.
  • Cost Optimization:Optimizing logistics procedures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Reporting:Preparing and submitting reports on import/export activities to management.
  • Risk Management:Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies related to import/export operations.
  • Inventory Management:Managing and tracking inventory related to import and export activities.
