Job Description:

The Area Coordinator is responsible for overseeing logistics operations within assigned hubs or areas. This role ensures smooth coordination of deliveries, warehouse activities, manpower allocation, and compliance with company standards. The Area Coordinator serves as the link between management and on-ground staff, ensuring efficiency, timely reporting, and resolution of operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor logistics operations in assigned hubs/warehouses.
  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure timely dispatch and deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory flow, parcel handling, and compliance with safety and company procedures.
  • Assist in manpower scheduling, attendance monitoring, and reporting of staff performance.
  • Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management.
  • Address operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and local regulations.
  • Support HR and Admin teams in processing documents, onboarding, and employee-related matters within the area.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 1–2 years experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution operations.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of logistics systems is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel and flexible with work schedules.
