General Responsibilities:

  • Formulate plans and strategies, including expanding existing accounts, developing new clients, and identifying opportunities in new industries.
  • Develop and manage new product ranges and explore new suppliers to enhance market coverage.
  • Identify potential markets for growth, including acquisition of new suppliers and improving relationships with under-utilized suppliers.
  • Focus on customer development aligned with ethical business practices.
  • Guide and oversee various sales departments in sales, marketing, promotions, product development, and supplier relations.
  • Support the Sales Team in Rudolf Lietz by optimizing performance and achieving targets.
  • In coordination with the Chief Representative, prepare annual sales forecast.
  • Manage monthly and regular reporting on business performance, supplier relations, risk management, and client updates.
  • Supervise and support the Rudolf Lietz Purchasing & Inventory Management activities.
  • Provide regular updates on client orders, cancellations, product development, market developments, and new competitors.
  • Establish and guide the sales team in meeting sales targets and client coverage, per updated KPIs.
  • Ensure all agency agreements, permits, certificates, and licenses are timely renewed and valid.
  • Oversee the performance review process for the sales team and assist with HR tasks related to recruitment, training, and employee retention.
  • Collaborate with the CEO for any Sales related task.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree from a reputable university is preferred.
  • At least 10 years proven experience in sales management with a demonstrated track record in strategic planning, team leadership, and business development.
  • Expertise in sales forecasting, data analysis, reporting, and KPI development to drive performance.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain supplier relationships, optimize inventory management, and lead product development initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.
  • Proven experience in talent development, including recruiting, training, and fostering employee growth within sales teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, including compliance with permits, certifications, and international sales regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to ensure favorable outcomes for both clients and the company.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, sales management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
