Job Objectives and Major Responsibilities

· To build, plan, manage and lead an HR unit and team that will deliver the required services in accordance with customer and company expectations

· To handle client, employee and organizational concerns, issues and needs

· To ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and regulations

· To implement and enforce employee discipline

· To provide proper upkeep and security of employee records

· To develop and implement human resource policies, strategies and programs to achieve company goals and objectives

· To promote the vision, mission and values of the company and foster a harmonious and positive organizational climate

Functional Areas and Scope

A.    Employee Contract Management

  • documentation and monitoring of employee on-boarding, deployment, movements and status

B.     Compensation Administration

  • supervision and coordination of payroll processing, wage order implementation, employee separation and clearances, performance management

C.     Benefits Administration

  • implementation of government mandated benefits (SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth, EC), company-initiated benefits (leaves, medical coverage, insurance coverage)

D.    Employee Relations

  • coaching and counselling, employee discipline

E.     Policy Making and Records Management

Man Specification

Educational Attainment

  • Any related field in social sciences (psychology, human resource development) or applied sciences (business administration, industrial engineering)
  • Postgraduate/masteral units or degree on related discipline will be an advantage

Experience

  • Extensive years of experience in HR, in a managerial capacity

Competencies

  • An adept HR general practitioner (proficient in all areas of HR), expertise in recruitment an additional advantage
  • Exhibits strong organizational astuteness and people skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Well-versed on labor laws and regulations
  • Strong management skills on planning, leading, organizing and controlling
