Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to work alongside department managers (Logistics, Marketing, Accounting, and Support) to create structure, visibility, and accountability across the business.

This role is about building the systems, processes, and performance frameworks that keep our global, remote team aligned and effective.

You should have e-commerce experience with platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.

The Business Operations Manager will learn the details of day-to-day operations, document them into SOPs, develop KPIs, and implement reporting dashboards that provide leadership with a clear picture of business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Documentation & Improvement

  • Learn and map workflows across all functions.

  • Create and maintain a company-wide SOP library.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to drive efficiency.

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Partner with managers to define KPIs for their functions.

  • Design and manage weekly reporting dashboards that track whether deadlines and goals are being met.
  • Consolidate results into a monthly KPI pack for leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and successes.

  • Cross-Departmental Alignment

  • Ensure departments are coordinated and working toward common goals.

  • Facilitate accountability by making performance visible, without taking over line management responsibility.

  • People Operations (HR-lite)

  • Develop coverage plans to ensure smooth operations when staff are on leave.

  • Establish best practices for working hours, communication, and collaboration across our global remote team.
  • Document and share policies related to scheduling and team norms.

  • Leadership Support

  • Provide regular operational updates and insights to the CEO and senior leadership.

  • Act as the bridge between managers and leadership to ensure clarity and alignment.
