Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce brand on a mission to transform everyday tech accessories into stylish, functional statements. They are a product-obsessed, customer-centric team focused on creating delightful experiences at every touchpoint.

As they scale, they're looking for a data-driven CRO Expert to help convert more visitors into loyal, happy customers.

About the Role

You will be responsible for optimizing the entire ecommerce funnel – from landing pages to checkout. The role requires someone who can hit the ground running, improving conversion rate, average order value (AOV), customer lifetime value (CLV), and revenue.

You'll combine qualitative and quantitative insights to identify friction points and lead a rigorous experimentation process that drives measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Conversion Optimization Strategy

  • Develop and execute a CRO roadmap aligned with growth goals
  • Identify bottlenecks using heatmaps, session recordings, funnel analysis, and user testing
  • Create and manage A/B and multivariate testing programs
  • Analyze test results and deliver actionable improvements

Customer Experience & UX Optimization

  • Audit and enhance end-to-end user experience to increase engagement and retention
  • Recommend and implement UX/UI improvements to reduce friction and build trust
  • Optimize mobile experience, page speed, layout, and messaging
  • Collaborate with designers and developers on UX enhancements

Landing Page & Funnel Design

  • Build and test high-performing landing pages for campaigns and product launches
  • Personalize pages based on traffic source, device, or behavior
  • Use tools like Webflow, Replo, Shogun, or Unbounce to rapidly launch variants

Data & Analytics

  • Own on-site analytics and CRO tracking (GA/GA4, Hotjar, surveys, Meta Pixel)
  • Monitor conversion metrics including bounce rate, AOV, exit rate, and cart abandonment
  • Report weekly/monthly on test results and growth initiatives
  • Segment data for tailored insights by source, device, and region

Cart & Checkout Optimization

  • Streamline cart and checkout flows to reduce abandonment
  • Implement trust signals, shipping thresholds, and payment options
  • Test upsell, cross-sell, and bundling offers

App & Tech Stack Optimization

  • Evaluate and implement tools to boost performance and retention
  • Measure ROI and remove underperforming apps

Email & Retention Funnel Input

  • Partner with email marketing to A/B test pop-ups, flows, and offers
  • Support segmentation strategies to improve conversion and retention

Campaign Management & Merchandising

  • Oversee website updates for campaigns and product launches
  • Monitor stock levels and timelines for limited editions
  • Launch promotion and discount campaigns
  • Localise updates for key markets
Key Requirements
  • 3+ years in a CRO-focused ecommerce/DTC role
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics, customer journey, and behavioral psychology
  • Hands-on with A/B testing tools (Google Optimize, VWO, Convert, Optimizely)
  • Proficient in analytics platforms (GA/GA4, Hotjar, Klaviyo reporting, Shopify Analytics)
  • Knowledge of UX principles and basic HTML/CSS
  • Experience with Shopify (Plus preferred) and page builders like Replo or Shogun
  • Clear communicator, able to articulate hypotheses and results
  • Background in DTC brands or consumer lifestyle products
  • Familiarity with subscription and retention models
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment
