Mata Services partners with clients in the US, Europe, and Australia to build dedicated remote development teams. We're looking for detail-oriented frontend developers who are passionate about crafting clean, user-friendly, and high-performance eCommerce websites.

What to Expect (Once Placed With a Client)

In this role, you will:

  • Build new web pages and improve existing high-traffic eCommerce sites
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code following frontend best practices
  • Create responsive layouts and user interfaces using HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript
  • Work on Shopify-based projects, either with existing Shopify/Liquid experience or a willingness to learn on the job
  • Implement designs with a sharp eye for UI/UX details
  • Apply SEO best practices (on-page and off-page) for better search performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine specifications and requirements
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimized site performance
  • Maintain, expand, and scale websites as business needs grow
  • Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and trends
What We Look For
  • 3+ years of frontend development experience (or full stack with strong frontend focus)
  • Ability to produce high-quality frontend code independently
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScrip
  • Experience with SCSS or other CSS preprocessors (big plus)
  • Understanding of eCommerce site development
  • Shopify and Liquid experience (or willingness to learn)
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and site optimization techniques
  • Goal-oriented, self-organizing mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Graphic Design, IT, or a related field
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with Shopify/Liquid theme customization
  • Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques
  • Basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows
