CUSTOMER MARKETING SPECIALIST (WORK FROM HOME/FULLY REMOTE)

Work Location: This is a fully remote position and will work from home in the Philippines (preferably in Metro Manila)

Work Schedule: In this role you'll be working U.S. traditional hours (Philippine night shift)

Job Summary: A key member of the Marketing Team, you will be designing and executing customer engagement strategies.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Customer Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing and executing customer engagement strategies that drive activation, value realization, retention, advocacy, and expansion. This role bridges customer success, product marketing, and growth teams to build seamless lifecycle journeys and personalized experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and optimize onboarding and adoption campaigns tied to customer milestones and product usage.

  • Design and launch cross-sell/upsell journeys and lifecycle tracks to support account expansion.

  • Create and scale customer advocacy programs including testimonials, reviews, and case studies.

  • Collaborate with customer success and product teams to proactively address churn signals and usage gaps.

  • Manage product release communications and community engagement efforts.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent project management and content creation skills

  • Strong data orientation with comfort using behavioral and usage analytics

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRMs

  • Familiarity with review & advocacy platforms (G2, TrustRadius, Gartner Peer Insights etc.)

  • Familiarity with survey/feedback platforms (Typeform, SurveyMonkey etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years prior experience in customer marketing, lifecycle, or growth marketing

  • Expertise in lifecycle segmentation, engagement strategy, and campaign automation

  • Experience collaborating with customer success, product, and revenue teams to support customer outcomes
