About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Control (QAC) Officer who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the QC laboratory operations to ensure all products meet company quality standards. The QAC Officer will conduct chemical and physical analyses of materials and finished products, maintain laboratory procedures, and ensure compliance with company and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Laboratory Management

  • Manage the QC laboratory and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Conduct chemical and/or physical analyses of materials and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement quality control schedules, procedures, and test methods.
  • Coordinate laboratory personnel, testing equipment, and calibration activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare quality documentation, including Certificates of Analysis and inspection reports.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain QC reports and raw material inspection records.
  • Record and file final QC inspection results.
  • Ensure all quality records are properly documented and retrievable.

Customer Quality Support

  • Address and resolve customer quality concerns by recommending and verifying corrective actions.
  • Ensure no further processing or shipment of non-conforming products until issues are resolved.
  • Promote customer requirements awareness across the company.

Quality System & Compliance

  • Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and update procedures as necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and product troubleshooting with production teams.
  • Ensure non-conforming products are properly identified, segregated, and managed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Technology (Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician preferred).
  • Preferably with laboratory experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
  • Strong laboratory techniques, data analysis, and quality testing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Working Schedule:

  • Rotating Shifts: Day/Night

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
