Position Overview

The In-House counsel is responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs to minimize risk, maintain ethical standards, and support a culture of integrity across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance

  • Monitor and interpret new and existing laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the organization's operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external consultants as needed.

Policy & Program Management

  • Develop, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Implement and manage compliance training programs for employees and management.
  • Ensure that compliance documentation is maintained and up to date.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track compliance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management and the board.
  • Investigate and respond to compliance breaches, complaints, and incidents.
  • Maintain records of compliance activities, such as complaints received, investigations conducted, and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Amenable to work 4x in the office, 1 WFH per week
  • Graduate of BS Legal Management and its related field
  • Bar Passer
  • With corporate legal and compliance experiences
  • Worked in a Fintech company or any payments is a plus
