KEY RESULT AREAS Operational Excellence, Legal & Risk Oversee the company's in-house legal operations, provide counsel on various legal matters like contracts, compliance litigation, and risk management to ensure the business operates within legal boundaries and aligns with its strategic goals Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Review and manage contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure that stakeholders comply with legal requirements. Support corporate counsel in various business transactions and ensure compliance with corporate and industry regulations. Develop risk control and management strategies to reduce the financial and legal impact on the business. Build and maintain strong relationships with external law firms and other legal advisors. Manage the legal department's budget, staff, and operations, ensuring efficient workflows and collaboration with other departments. Create and implement legal policies, procedures, and documents to safeguard the company's legal interests. Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters, representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary. Special Projects Lead and deliver cross‑functional projects that strengthen business performance and support corporate growth. Partner with leadership and lead projects in areas such as: Corporate development – into new markets, new business models, or strategic partnerships. Operational excellence – process improvement, cost optimization, or digital transformation initiatives. Business strategy execution – tracking KPIs, analyzing trends, and ensuring align with long‑term strategic goals. M&A support and integration – evaluating opportunities, supporting due diligence, and driving post‑merger execution. Act as a project owner for critical initiatives, ensuring milestones are achieved and results are measurable. Collaborate with finance, operations, and commercial teams to assess ROI, manage risks, and create sustainable business value. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enable project success. People Engagement and Development Models servant leadership and integrates biblical values across teams. Inspires coordination and collaboration within the team and other departments. Supports Team Member growth through training and mentoring aligned with legal and internal audit objectives. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Experience: 8–10 years’ experience in legal, compliance, internal audit, or risk management roles Extensive knowledge of corporate, labor, tax, and commercial law Strong understanding of business contracts, regulatory frameworks, and compliance processes; proficient in legal research and contract drafting. Experience in retail, F&B, or franchising environments is highly preferred. Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage diverse stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
