Job Summary:

The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to the legal and compliance team in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations governing the online gambling industry. This role involves managing legal documentation, assisting in regulatory compliance, and supporting the legal department in various aspects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Legal Documentation:

a. Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to the online casino operations.

b. Maintain an organized system for legal documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and tracking of relevant information.

  1. Regulatory Compliance:

a. Stay updated on local and international laws and regulations related to online gambling.

b. Assist in ensuring that the online casino operations comply with all relevant legal requirements.

  1. License and Permit Management:

a. Assist in the application and renewal process for licenses and permits required for online gambling operations.

b. Keep track of deadlines and submission requirements for licenses and permits.

  1. Legal Research:

a. Conduct legal research on emerging issues in the online gambling industry.

b. Provide summaries and analysis of legal developments that may impact the online casino's operations.

  1. Communication and Coordination:

a. Liaise with regulatory authorities, legal counsel, and other stakeholders as directed by the legal team.

b. Communicate legal updates and changes to relevant departments within the online casino.

  1. Policy Development:

a. Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

b. Collaborate with other departments to integrate legal requirements into operational processes.

  1. Dispute Resolution Support:

a. Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and claims involving the online casino.

b. Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.

  1. Confidentiality and Ethics:

a. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct in handling legal matters.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field.

  2. Knowledge of online gambling regulations and industry practices.

  3. Strong organizational and communication skills.

  4. Proficiency in legal research and document management.

  5. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
