Role & Responsibilities:

As an Officer, Wide Network, you will play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-level wide area network (WAN) infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity across multiple sites, data centers, and cloud environments.

This role requires a sharp eye for detail, a passion for network architecture, and a proactive mindset to drive network resilience and performance across the organization.

Network Design & Optimization: Plan, implement, and maintain the wide area network (WAN) infrastructure, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security standards.

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network performance, respond to network incidents, and resolve connectivity issues in real-time across branches, HQ, and remote sites.

Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Cybersecurity, Systems, Applications, and Site IT—to deliver seamless network connectivity and IT support.

Vendor & ISP Coordination: Manage relationships with internet service providers and third-party vendors to resolve external connectivity issues and enforce service level agreements (SLAs).

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed network documentation, including topologies, configurations, and change logs, in line with audit, risk, and compliance requirements.

Security Compliance: Implement and enforce WAN security policies, in collaboration with the Information Security team, to ensure compliance with enterprise security protocols.

Tech Innovation: Recommend and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve network reliability, cost-efficiency, and performance.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a related field.

· At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in wide area network design, administration, and support.

· In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), MPLS, SD-WAN, VPNs, and enterprise-grade firewalls.

· Proficient in Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar enterprise network platforms.

· Familiarity with cloud connectivity and hybrid network environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
