Megawide is currently seeking an innovative and results-driven Construction Methods Engineer is responsible for assisting immediate supervisor in development of construction methodologies for structural works associated with the construction of the subway station. The role ensures to support in studying project specifications and drawings in order to draft methodologies and other technical documents for the approval of immediate supervisor and managers.

Job Descriptions

  • Assist in reviewing proposed method statements and work procedures from subcontractor to identify conflict against the project specification and drawings
  • Assist in drafting method statements and work procedures aligning with the project specifications and drawings based on guidance and instructions of immediate supervisor
  • Review project specification and drawings to provide required information prior development of initial estimates needed for a specific work scope
  • Prepare concept plans and presentation materials to assist immediate supervisor in generating a comprehensive construction methodology sequence
  • Perform other tasks that will be assigned by immediate supervisor and managers from time to time
  • Closely collaborates with Immediate Supervisor, Subcontractors and Co-Departments to effectively develop required method statements
  • Assist immediate supervisor in review of other technical documents related to construction methodologies and planning such as Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Shop Drawings and For Construction Drawings (FCD)
  • Attend technical meetings to gather related information for construction methodologies and planning

Job Qualifications

  • BS Civil Engineering, preferably with a license
  • At least two (2) years of related working experience in civil works
