About the role

As a Junior Civil Engineer - Pasig Project at Bureau Veritas S.A.', you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for civil engineering projects based in Pasig City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will involve working closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering designs, drawings and construction plans
  2. Conduct site inspections and surveys to monitor project progress and identify any issues or discrepancies
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors and subcontractors, to coordinate project activities
  4. Perform engineering calculations, analysis and problem-solving to address technical challenges
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
  6. Document project progress and maintain accurate records and reports
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to construction workers as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a civil engineering role, preferably in the construction industry
  3. Knowledge of structural design principles, construction methods and materials
  4. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ETABS, and Microsoft Office suite
  5. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  7. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety
