Your Role

As a
General Accounting Staff
, you are responsible to perform bookkeeping and maintain reliable accounting records for Accounting-911, Corporate Office-872 and head office non-booking units. The incumbent is expected to prepare accurate internal and external reports in a timely manner

Your Impact

  • Receive soft & hard copies of WebADI file on backdating entries from Branch Accounting & other booking units.
  • Callback daily the following to ensure propriety of entries: Accounts Payable, Accrued Other Expenses Payable, Due to Treasurer of the Philippines, Retirement Liability & all other liabilities in the books of Accounting (911), Corporate Office & other Head Office non-booking units.
  • Prepare monthly accrual of bankwide expenses, review from time to time if there is a need to adjust the accruals and prepare uploading file including allocation of expenses such as but not limited to MYEA, YEFA, UNUSED SL, ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES, GRT, GRATUITY EXPENSE, PDIC INSURANCE.
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly movement of bankwide overhead expenses.
  • Monitor daily stale and dormant MCs issued in the books of CMS for Accounting. Payments Unit clients by coordinating with concerned requesting personnel thru email.
  • Download the required accounting records – general journal listing, general ledgers – to be saved in CD/DVD. Complete other documentary requirements: -BIR Form No Application for Registration Information) for RBU & FCDU for signature of Head, Accounting
  • Responsible for returns and recalls of SSS regular pensions, Initial Death, Disability and Retirement.
  • Prepare AERC Reports; (Include Reports submitted to MAS and other internal reports) Collate, Consolidate, Validate data to be submitted to TOP

Your Profile

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or other accountancy related course
  • At least 2 years work experience in general accounting is preferred
  • Experience in Fixed Asset (PPE), Accruals and Prepayments, Accounting Schedules for audit is an advantage
  • Certified Public Accountant is not required
