Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and supervise the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor production metrics (efficiency, yield, downtime, waste) and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and consistency.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to build a skilled workforce.
  • Report on production performance to senior management and recommend improvement strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in production/operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards.
  • Proven experience in production planning, process optimization, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work across departments.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production management software.
