US Loan Specialist (US Market — Back Office Support)

Position Summary

The US Loan Specialist will support U.S. mortgage processes through back-office tasks such as document review, data entry, verifications, and coordination with U.S. teams. This is a non-licensed role with no direct interaction with borrowers and does not involve loan origination activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify mortgage loan documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Input and maintain borrower information in Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
  • Conduct income, employment, asset, and credit verifications per client requirements
  • Order and track third-party services (appraisals, title reports, insurance, payoffs)
  • Review appraisal, title, and closing documents using compliance checklists
  • Identify missing documents or discrepancies and escalate as required
  • Coordinate with U.S.-based processing and underwriting teams
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive borrower data

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in mortgage processing, financial services, or BPO back-office support
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Familiarity with U.S. mortgage processes, forms, or LOS platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
  • Ability to learn and apply U.S. compliance requirements
  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
