Job Description

As a Loan Reviewer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of mortgage documents before finalization. From verifying signatures to flagging inconsistencies, you'll help guarantee that every file meets regulatory and internal standards while working in a team-first environment.

Shift: Night Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST / 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM PHT during DST; 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM otherwise), Weekends Off

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or any related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Mortgage Banking Closings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel.
• Experience with Encompass Loan Origination System is a strong advantage.
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of the loan shipping process, including document handling, file packaging, and coordinating with multiple investors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Your Daily Tasks

• Review all documents to verify accurate and complete loan information, including borrower details, property address, signatures, and dates.
• Index documents correctly within the system.
• Check disclosure tracking to confirm the validity of closing disclosure signature dates.
• Analyze MAVENT reports and escalate any identified issues.
• Remove blank or unnecessary documents from loan files.
• Prepare loan bundles and apply the correct stacking order.
• Retrieve UCD files for all conventional (non-government, non-jumbo) loans from FNMA and FHLMC.
• Transfer UCD files to appropriate investors before shipping.
• Send the 3.2 file in accordance with each investor's shipping requirements.
• Ship loan packages to investors via their designated platforms.
• Confirm shipment success and maintain accurate shipping records.
