JOB DESCRIPTION

Main duties and activities

As a member of the Office Support team, you will contribute to the following tasks:

Level 1 incident handling:

  • Incident qualification
  • Identification of the problem's origin
  • Proposed solution
  • Implementation of the recommended solution or escalation to Level 2 if required.
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Identification of control points to be implemented
  • Execution of control points

Additional Details on Job-related Activities:

The main activities are as follows (non-exhaustive list, subject to change):

  1. Incident management on hardware (PC, monitor)
  2. Incident management on accessories (docking station, mouse, keyboard, etc.)
  3. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to client operating systems (Windows: domain, permissions)
  4. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to internet browser usage
  5. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to Office suite (troubleshooting and configuration)
  6. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to antivirus (client operation and update status verification)
  7. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to VPN (Zscaler)
  8. Assistance with video conference startup, analysis and resolution of incidents related to Teams usage
  9. Assistance with installation and availability of business software on workstations
  10. Assistance with installation and availability of various software on workstations
  11. Assistance with mobile enrolment into company portal.
  12. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to Office 365 account usage
  13. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to data storage
  14. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to server availability
  15. Analysis and resolution of incidents related to copier and printer availability

Key required skills

  • Successful first experience in user support
  • Ability to analyze a problem and define the appropriate solution
  • Ability to interact with others and work as part of a team
  • Rigor and methodology

Additional appreciated skills (not mandatory)

  • Proficiency in office tools (notably Office Suite)
  • Proficiency in EasyVista or another ITSM
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune
