About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Lead (Hybrid Setup) to oversee our software development and IT operations. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to ensure that our systems, projects, and teams perform at the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in .NET development (preferably with good VB.NET experience), SQL, and software architecture, as well as proven experience managing technical teams and vendors. You will be responsible for leading developers and testers, ensuring adherence to the SDLC, and driving integration, migration, and reporting initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, testers, and IT staff to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Oversee software development projects following the Waterfall methodology, ensuring timely delivery and documentation across all SDLC phases.
  • Design and maintain robust software architectures that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Manage and optimize code maintenance, version control, and deployment pipelines.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications (VB.NET experience is preferred).
  • Design and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for performance and scalability.
  • Oversee system integrations and data migrations, ensuring accuracy and minimal downtime.
  • Produce and manage technical documentation required throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and manage advanced analytics and reports using Power BI and similar tools to support business decision-making.
  • Drive data analytics initiatives, transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Manage and negotiate with external IT vendors, ensuring quality service delivery, compliance, and value for money.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT and software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework / VB.NET and SQL.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience in an IT environment.
  • Solid understanding of Waterfall development methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural design and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and associated documentation.
  • Experience with data migration, code maintenance, and system optimization.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar analytics/reporting platforms.
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to hybrid or cloud-based architectures (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Experience working with ERP or enterprise systems.
  • Background in project management or PMP certification is an advantage.

Job Types: Fixed term, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From Php140,000.00 per month
