  • Review and verify invoices and check requests.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Prepare and perform check runs.
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Maintain vendor files and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare accruals and adjusting journal entries as necessary.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Generate and review accounts payable reports.
  • Provide analysis on accounts payable data to identify trends or issues.
  • Assist with financial reporting and audits as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounts payable processes.

  • Assist with system implementations and upgrades related to accounts payable.

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
  • In-depth knowledge in accounts payable processes and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
