About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Associate to join the team at All Visual & Light Systems Corporation in our Quezon City, Metro Manila office. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our financial accounting and reporting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Perform financial analysis and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of regulatory and statutory reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly preferred
