Assistant Operations Manager

IRX Solutions works with the top US firms that manufacture popular brands of consumer goods (Cooluli, Zeebra Kids, Masingo, etc.) that are offered through well-known e-commerce sites and physical stores across the US, Canada, the UK, and other countries. As our business continues to grow, we are searching for talented professionals to join our diverse team and support the growth of the organization.
We are looking for an Operations Assistant who is organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and other members of the team, as well as assisting with special projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an office environment or remotely and be able to work independently with little supervision. The Operations Assistant will report to the Director of Operations and work in close collaboration with every department in the organization.
What you'll do:
- Assist in management of daily operations and communications with teams and vendors.
- Assist with marketing initiatives by implementing strategies with the marketing team.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with document preparation, including drafting proposals and presentations.
- Assist in event planning and execution, including travel arrangements.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation on internal databases and updating project details.
- Assist with project coordination, including coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and tracking project milestones.
- Prepare reports related to product performance and team performance for management review.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Motivated, independent thinker with strong reasoning skills and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of product management a plus.
- Computer savvy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Skilled at time management and highly organized.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of coworkers.
- Capable of working a night shift from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
