GENERAL JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for handling the day-to-day requests for IT hardware and software support for computer users.
  • Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating technology issues

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology
  • Minimum of 6 months work experience in hardware and software support and troubleshooting

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up accounts and workstations and attend to user's service request within the KPI set.
  • Ensures that network connections of computer are always available.
  • Evaluates and troubleshoots the problem of computer users.
  • Issue a service unit whenever available and pulls out defective units for internal repair or to service provider for repair units are still under by warranty.
  • Ensures achievements of all requirements and expectations of the customers.
  • Install, configure and update hardware and software applications or operating system on computers.
  • Provide customer service and technical support to end-users for hardware and software systems
  • Resolve routine end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary
  • Prompt reporting of issues, ensuring zero complaints and establish continuous communication with customers and partners
  • Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users
  • Act as the liaison and collaborate between internal and external clients.
  • Generate and submit required reports to monitor progress of service actions
