Job Summary:

The Medical Support Specialist / Psychiatric Clinical Assistant is responsible for managing patient communication, supporting providers, and ensuring smooth administrative and clinical operations. This role involves handling patient correspondence, coordinating authorizations and referrals, assisting with documentation, and managing medication refill requests while maintaining a high level of professionalism and patient care.

The position requires working during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and triage patient messages, emails, and calls.
  • Facilitate communication between providers, patients, and external clinics.
  • Process and track prior authorization (PA) requests and appeals.
  • Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare facilities.
  • Assist with clinical documentation such as FMLA forms and medical necessity letters.
  • Verify and process medication refill requests in coordination with pharmacies.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical or Nursing Assistant required.
  • Experience in mental health or clinical settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Flexibility to work in U.S. time zones.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php40,000.00 per month
