Key duties & requirements

  • Develop optimisation strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
  • Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
  • Monitor performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Efficiently communicate with the team to align goals – responsiveness on emails, phone and other direct message channels
  • Assist with the preparation of high-quality website and social media content
  • Work with the team to update website content and website links for maximum optimisation and search engine rankings
  • Create a Google Business Profile and LinkedIn Posts
  • Assist with social media posts
  • Assist with the preparation and scheduling of marketing emails
  • Perform website updates and changes using WordPress
  • Utilisations of page builders (Elementor, Divi, WP Bakery, Beaver etc..)

Knowledge/Skills/attributes

  • Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Looker Studio
  • SEO Tools: Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, WordPress SEO Plugins (Yoast, RankMath, SmartCrawl etc...)
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
  • Comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a regular basis
  • Strong knowledge and experience of WordPress and other CMS platforms
  • Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge of HTML
  • Technologically savvy and ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Strong understanding of hashtags, links and basic SEO functions and the digital world
  • Excellent English skills (both spoken and written)
  • Knowledge and experience with digital platforms and the digital industry
  • Strong computer skills, Office 365/Google suite of tools
  • Attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking
  • Website migrations (server to server)
