About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced General Accountant based in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. As a full-time General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  3. Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
  4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  6. Providing financial reports and analysis to management
  7. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial support and advice
  8. Participating in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Accountancy graduate (CPA not required)
  2. At least 5 years of experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role
  3. Experienced in bookkeeping for manufacturing companies
  4. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
