Job Summary
The Senior HR Manager will lead the overall HR operations of Playmate Leisure Solutions Corp., ensuring that all HR functions support the company's fast-paced and growing environment. This role is responsible for strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, policy development, performance management, and compliance.
The ideal candidate is Filipino-Chinese or fluent in Mandarin and can bridge communication between local and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure high-level HR service delivery.
- Collaborate with top management and Chinese-speaking executives regarding HR initiatives and workforce planning.
2. Recruitment & Talent Management
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for both local and foreign hires.
- Implement hiring strategies to attract top talent for the online gaming industry.
- Create competency frameworks, career progression plans, and succession planning programs.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Manage employee relations concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement engagement programs that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct Mandarin or bilingual meetings when required for Chinese employees or partners.
4. Policy Development & Compliance
- Review, update, and enforce HR policies, labor standards, and company regulations.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversee preparation of employee contracts, documentation, and reports.
5. Performance Management
- Lead performance appraisal cycles and KPI setting.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers for performance improvement.
- Analyze performance data and recommend development programs.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and create strategic learning programs.
- Coordinate and conduct bilingual training sessions when necessary.
7. Compensation & Benefits
- Work with management in planning competitive salary structures and benefits.
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of payroll changes, incentives, and employee programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Must be Filipino-Chinese or Fluent in Mandarin (verbal and written).
- At least
7–10 years of solid HR experience
, including leadership/managerial roles. - Strong background in employee relations, recruitment, and organizational development.
- Experience in the online gaming industry or BPO is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of PH labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership capability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
